Accommodations
Many families wish to apply the results of their evaluation within the school setting. Although there are various options for students in both private and public schools, the reality is that the system can seem difficult and overwhelming for parents to navigate. For some, this will include a journey toward accommodations in a 504 plan under the ADA legislation. For others, more intensive Special Education supports developed within an Individualized Education Program will be necessary.
Twice Exceptional
In addition, some students may require a 2e (twice exceptional) label, meaning that both their learning difference and their gifts require targeted recognition and support.
Please note that while Reveal IQ Assessments no longer offers onsite advocacy services, discussions of best practices and insight into academic accommodations are offered through evaluation feedback.
