Experience
With a PhD in School Psychology from the University of Denver, Dr. Delap has over 15 years of experience working with students in a variety of settings, from preK through adulthood. In addition to her evaluation work, Dr. Delap is a researcher in Early Childhood and Indigenous topics. She previously held the Treasurer position for 8 years on the board of Colorado Society of School Psychologists, designing professional development for school psychologists throughout the state. Her work in the school setting included general and special education initiatives, providing assessment, intervention, and recommendations for academic and social/emotional needs. Overall, her psychotherapeutic approach is based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In order to provide the highest level of services possible, Dr. Delap will tailor her approach based upon your individual needs as a client.
